Bamboo Temple (Chinese name is Qiongzhu Temple which is located in the northwest of Kunming. The temple and the bamboo forest that surround it have a wonderful and mysterious legend about their origins. The highlights in this temple are the 500 Arhat sculptures which are well-known for their vivid expressions and artistic characteristics. They are regarded as the gem of Oriental sculptures. )
