Langbapu Earth Forest (It is located Xinhua township in the west 33km from Yuanmou county. The Langbapu Earth Forest occupied an area of 1.4 square kilometer at the altitude between 1560- 1640m above sea level. This special kind of land-form was formed under the influence of movement of crust, erosion of water, test of climate and so on. Langbapu earth forest is tall, varied and well developed with an average height of 8 to 25 meters. The colorful earth forest looks like grand palaces from a distance. When you walk inside the earth forest, you will flee that you stay in an old castle. The earth columns showed varied shapes with colors of yellow,white , blank and red. It is a wonders of the nature.
