Day 1 Kunming Arrival (-/-/-)

Arrive at Kunming airport, our guide will pick up you at exit of the arrival Hall, then head drive to your hotel in downtown for check in.
Rest time of the day at your leisure or have a good rest after long flying.

Day 2 Kunming-Dali (B/L/-)

This morning,transfer 1.5-2hrs to discover Stone Forest which is the  most important attractions of Yunnan, about 90km away from Kunming. The difference types of limestone of here is isolated, exquisite and beautiful, showing its unique charm. It became the member in the list of World Nature Heritage in June,2007.
Afterward ,drive back to Kunming city, stroll around Kunming center-Flower and Bird Market  it is a popular daily market for trading difference flowers, plants, pets and antiques,Jade articles, jewelry, ink stones,potteries,stone carving, fan and handcrafts.Here is one of the most alluring attractions in Kunming. 

After the tour, transfer to railway station for the high speed train to Dali (2hrs running time)

Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to check in hotel.

Day 3 Dali (B/L/-)

Morning star tour from  the morning market of Xizhou Town and enjoy a horse -drawn carriage ride to exlore the Xizhou town. It’s  a classic Bai ethnic town. Followed by a walking around in the old street of Xizhou and to witness the Bai traditional architectures.  

Then take the  cruise tour in Erhai Lake Erhai means, "sea shaped like an ear", in Chinese. Implying that the lake is ear shaped and as large as a sea, hence it was so named.It is like a crescent lying between Cangshan and Dali city as seen from Cangshan Mount. 

Later continue to discover the Dali Old Town. ( It  was set up in 1382 A.D during the Ming Dynasty as the capital of the Dali kingdom. There are well-preserved traditional houses of the Bai Ethnic Group people.

Day 4 Dali-Shaxi-Lijiang (B/L/-)

After breakfast, further the tip to Lijiang via Shaxi.  On the way , stop to visit Shibao Mountain which is located at Jianchuan County. The scenery is woderful, and rather unique in being adorn with red rock geomorphology.  And Shaxi Old Town (which once an active trade stop on the ancient Tea horse road connected Tibet , China with southeast Asia. It has been listed by World Monuments Fund as one of the world's 100 most endangered sites).
After the tour,  contitue drive to Lijiang city (2hrs ) with the Chinese speaking driver.
Upon arrival,  meeting your guide from Lijiang and check in hotel in Lijiang Old Town.

Day 5 Lijiang (B/L/-)

This morning, transfer to Lashihai Wetland. It is the best place for plants, fishes, shelfish and river snails. The grassy marshland and swamp provide a nice home for wetland animals and plants.  And Zhiyun temple situated by Lashihai Lake is regarded as one of the five temples in the city of Lijiang. It is a famous toursim spot of Tibetan Lamaism.

Afterward, move to visit Black Dragon Pond ( Located at the foot of the Xingshan Mountainnorth of the city of Lijiang. As the water here is a lucid green color, it gained another name Jade Spring Park (Yuquan Park) and Dongba Culture Museum nearby. Finally, leisure explore Lijiang Old  Town. Lijiang Ancient Town has a history more than 800 years; it was listed as the World Cultural Heritage by the UNESCO 1997. Here you will see the wonderful wooden architecture of Naxi ethnic people.

Day 6 Lijiang (B/L/-)

Morning drive to visit The Jade Dragon Snow Mountain ( It is the southern most glacier in the Northern Hemisphere. Consisting of 13 peaks, among which Shanzidou is the highest one with an altitude of 5,600 meters (18,360 feet) with a chair lift ride to up and down to visit Spruce Meadow (3450m). This place is a quite grass field. Most people say that this place is compare to Swizerland and Swden when it comes to its mountainous beauty.
In the afternoon, then take a nice walk around the Baisha village and visit Baisha Fresco ( The greatest feature of the fresco is the syncretism. Figures of Buddism, Taoism and Lamaism are painted together, which is peculiar in the world.)

Overnight at Lijiang.

Day 7 Lijiang- Tiger Leaping Gorge -Shangri-La (B/L/-)

After breakfast, departure and drive 2.5hurs to Qiaotou Town with your Chinese speaking driver. Take a stop to view First Bend of Yangze River on the way. Meeting with your guide from Shangri-La after arrival, start the tour of Tiger Leaping Gorge (Shangri-La section) the deepest gorge in the world. With 34 rapids of the Yangtze River, it is called the Jinsha in this area because you can find gold in the river.
Afterward, further the driving to Shangri-La(2hrs). It is located in the north-west part of Yunnan. It is the Tibetan region of Yunnan with an average altitude more than 3,150 meters

Day 8 Shangri-La (B/L/-)

In the morning, firstly visit Pudacuo National Park(the park is the largest forest forest park in China. It including Shudu Lake and Bita Lake. Lakes of there are known for its clear water, and the peaceful environment of the area around here. As the source of the Shuduogang River, the lake is 3750m above the sea level and covers an area of 15 square kilometers).

In the afteroon, climb up to visit Songzanlin Monstery, or 'Little Potala' as it is affectionately known, is a spiritual place that invites you to discover the mystery and traditions of Tibetan Buddism. Then pay a visit of a local Tibetan Family to charting with the local people to know about their local life and try to drink a cup of Yak Butter Tea.

Afterward, spends some time to stroll in Dukezong Tibetan Old Town. Dukezong comes from Tibetan language which means the moonlight city, on the summit of the Guishan Hill in the old town, you will see the largest Pray Wheel in the world. You can try to push the huge pray wheel around with local people together to show your blessing to your family and friends.

Overnight at Shangri-la.

Day 9 Shangri-La - Kunming Departure (B/-/-)

This morning, take flight back to Kunming. (1hr flying time ) Arrive at Kunming airport, Own take your connection departure flight to next destination.
