Arrive at Kunming airport, our guide will pick up you at exit of the arrival Hall. Then transfer to Kunming city for check in your hotel.
Overnight at Kunming
In the morning, firstly transfer to Luliang county of Qujiang city (2hrs) to visit the Colorful Sand Forest in Luliang (It is about 130km from Kunming. The sand forest with an area of 25 square kilometers.The Colorful Sand Forest came into being about 67million years ago. The Colorful Sand Forest is rare in the world and the unique natural wonder in China. Shaped as a “Y”, the entire scenic area boasts over 100 scenic spots of sand mounds, peaks, pillars, caves and beaches etc. In different seasons and weathers, the color of the sand appears red, yellow, white, gray, indigo, purple, blue, and black etc. People normally compare it to “a colorful painting”
Afterward, further 1hr transfer for the tour of Naigu Stone Forest which is about 10km to the east of Large Stone Forest. “ Naigu “in the Yi language means old and black. It covers an area of 7.83 square kilometers with the characteristics of magnificence, roughness , primitiveness and simpleness. Seen from outside , the forest resembles an ancient battle field, mysterious. However go inside , it looks like a place luxurious and solemn.
Finally return to your hotel in Kunming ( 1.5hrs)
Overnight at Kunming
This morning, drive to Yuanmou (3.5hrs) is a county of Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, located in northwest part of Yunnan and about 189km far from Kunming. Yuanmou is a key base of vegetable plantation in Yunnan. The famous Yuanmou Man fossil was be found in here in 1965 which represented the earliest fossils of human ancestors found in China and East Asia. Moreover Yuanmou is well know for its Tulin (earth forest)
Upon arrival, pay a visit of Langbapu Earth Forest (It is located Xinhua township in the west 33km from Yuanmou county. The Langbapu Earth Forest occupied an area of 1.4 square kilometer at the altitude between 1560- 1640m above sea level. This special kind of land-form was formed under the influence of movement of crust, erosion of water, test of climate and so on. Langbapu earth forest is tall, varied and well developed with an average height of 8 to 25 meters. The colorful earth forest looks like grand palaces from a distance. When you walk inside the earth forest, you will flee that you stay in an old castle. The earth columns showed varied shapes with colors of yellow,white , blank and red. It is a wonders of the nature.
After tour , transfer to check in your hotel.
Overnight at Yuanmou
After breakfast, you will take a tour of Wumao Earth Forest also called as Laohutan Earth Forest. It is about 36km from Yuanmou downtown and occupied an area of 8 square kilometers. The unique landscape was formed by geological movement and soil erosion one or two million years ago. It is named for its shape like immense forest and the main composition of the expansion is earth. There are four main styles columns : earth bud style, castle style, bamboo shoot style and mush room style. The shapes of the Earth Forest look like vivid persons and animals as people look at them closely. All these composted am magnificent world. Xu Xiake who is the most famous Chinese travel writer and geographer in the Ming Dynasty (1368 -1644)said that that standing in the earth forest was just like being among the 'auspicious cloud' and 'golden millet' when he visited Yuanmou earth forest in A.D. 1638.
After lunch, transfer back to Kunming hotel.

After breakfast , free at leisure before transfer to Kunming airpor for your departure flight to next destination.
