Overnight at Shangri-La
In the morning, you'll visit the tranquil Bita Lake & Shudu Lake in Pudacuo National Park which is located in one of the most biologically-diverse regions of the world. While the region comprises only 0.7 percent of China's land area, it contains more than 20 percent of the country's plant species, about one-third of its mammal and bird species and almost 100 endangered species.
Then move to visit the Ganden Sumtseling Monastery, the largest Tibetan monastery in Yunnan. Songzanlin Monastery has another alias - 'the little Potala Palace ', so named because the whole monastery is in the traditional style with mysterious atmosphere. Finally walk around Dukezong Ancient Town, an important town of the Ancient Tea-horse Trade Caravan from Yunnan to Tibet and India.
Overnight at Shangri-La
In the morning, drive to Deqin County (3400m altitude 4hrs) which is located in the Hengduan mountain at the northwest of Diqing prefecture. It is a town in the intersection of yunnan, Sisuan and Tibet. For population, 80% of its 55,000 inhabitants are Tibetan.
On the way ,stop to visit the Great Jingsha River Corner it is the famous Great Jingsha River Corner. After turning for 180 degrees here, the Jingsha River flows slowly to Bengzilan. Landscape enjoyment terraces is set up beside the highway.
Stop to visit Dongzhulin monastery It was built in 1667, the sixth year of the Kang Xi Period. Its original name was “Chongchongcuogang temple", meaning “the temple by the crane lake”.) as well as the point 4292m altitude in the pass of Baiman Snow Mountain
Upon arrival, check in your hotel nearby Feilaisi Temple.

If the weather is permits, gets up early to enjoy the sunrise of Meili Snow Mountain. (Meili Snow Mountain is be called the holy Mountain by the local people. It is considers by 13 peaks. Kangwaboge Peak is the main peak of the mountain with height of 6740m which is the highest point of Yunnan Province. Pilgrims from Kangba Region come here at the beginning of each winter to worship. Then stroll around Feilaisi Temple ( it was first built in 1614A.D. The temple is right face the peaks of Meili Snow Mountain. Hence it become the best place to enjoy the amazing sunrise view of Meili Mt. Moreover, you can see the the fresco of ancient Tibetan Buddhism kept well in the temple )
Continue to visit Mingyong Glacier (which is located on the foot of the Kagebo, the main peak of the well-known MeiLi Snow Mountains. It is a modern glacier with lowest altitude and lowest latitudes in nowadays' land which is about 11.7km long and over 500m wide. The glacier is composed of 3 parts, repectively in shapes of fan, platform and tongue. It extends to forest district with an altitude of some 2,660m above sea level.
Take a nice walk in the Tibetan Village nearby before transfer back to your hotel.

Morning further your driving to Weixi ( 4-5hours ) Enjoy the landscape on the way. Stop at Cizhong village is situated in the south of Deqin County, 80 km from the county seat. In Tibetan, “ci” means “village” and “zhong” means “big”. The head of Cizhong village used to control six villages around thus the name “Cizhong”. Cizhong Village is co-inhabited by ethnic groups such as Chinese Han, Tibetan and Naxi etc. The highlight is to visit Cizhong Catholic Church was first constructed in 1909 and became the major church of Yunnan Parish after its completion. In 1987, it was listed as a key protected cultural relic site of Yunnan Province. And the local grape Garden.
Then further the driving to Tacheng via Weixi (1.5hrs ),check in your hotel in close to the Tacheng Black Snub-Nosed Monkey Park in the later of afternoon.

After the breakfast at local restaurant ,have a tour of Tacheng Black Snub-Nosed Monkey Park. As a national park integrating primitive ecology, Neolithic sites, religious pilgrimage place, paradise of black snub-nosed monkey and multi-national style, the scenic area is particularly distinguished with the religious culture and temple scenic sports such as the dense forest, valuable and rare animals and Patriarch Bodhidharma's Cave as well as “Re Ba” of Tibetans and customs of Lisu Nationality.
After the tour, continue drive to Stone Drum Town ( 4-5hrs ). Upon arrival, check in your guesthouse.
Overnight and dinner at local guesthouse
After breakfast, visit Stone Drum Town and The First Bend of the Yangtze River, a world-famous V-shape geological phenomenon and an extraordinary panoramic scene whose vistas you will long remember with great pleasure. Afterward, take a tour of the Tiger Leaping Gorger (the normally tour of Tiger Leaping Gorge , no trekking for this part ), the deepest gorge in the world. With 34 rapids of the Yangtze River, it is called the Jinsha in this area because you can find gold in the river.
Then continue to drive to Shangri-La (2hrs ) , check in your hotel in the later afternoon.
