6 Days Beijing and Chengde tour offers you an incredible capital to discover the precious world heritage in Beijing along with it’s thousands of culture. Chengde is the holiday resort of ancient emperors, with exquisite architecture with numerous Chinese ancient history.
Arrive at Beijing airport by flight (TBA), upon arrival, be welcomed by your local guide at exit, then head to your hotel for check in.

Overnight at Beijing
In the morning, transfer to take a morning tour to the Temple of Heaven. The place where the Emperors prayed for peace and harvest. It is located in the southern part of Beijing, and had been one of the most holy places for the whole country for more than five centuries. It used as a complex of sacrificial buildings for the Ming and Qing emperors.
Continue the tour to Tiananmen Square. Tiananmen Square is the heart and symbol of Beijing and is the biggest square in the world as well. The square can hold about one million people for public celebration or gatherings.
Then move on to the Imperial Palace, also known as the "Forbidden City" （Closed every Monday) , the largest and best-preserved ancient imperial palaces group with 500 years history. The palace was built between 1406 and 1420, but was burnt down, rebuilt, sacked and renovated countless times, so most of the architecture you can see today dates from the 1700’s and onwards.
After the tour, transfer back to the hotel.

Overnight at Beijing
Pick-up from your hotel at 8:30am, and then drive to visit the Great Wall-(Ju Yong Guan Section) Ju Yong Guan Pass is located in an 18 kilometre-long valley named "Guangou" which is inside Changping County more than 50 kilometres from Beijing City. It is one of the three greatest passes of Great Wall of China. The other two passes are Jiayuguan Pass and Shanhai Pass. It had many different names in the past dynasties. However, the name "Juyongguan Pass" was used by more than three dynasties. It was first used in the Qin Dynasty when Emperor Qinshihuang ordeed to build the Great Wall. Hiking the great wall for about 2hrs. Lunch at nearby local Chinese restaurant.
Afternoon continue Drive to visit Summer Palace (The Summer Palace is a favorite among tourists sightseeing in Beijing. Indeed, it is one of the best parks in the city. Originally it was a retreat for emperors to escape the scorching summer heat of Beijing. The Summer Palace was used by emperors for 800 years, but fell into disuse in the 18th century. Then in the 19th century, the Empress Dowager Cixi made massive renovations and restored many buildings using money funneled out from the state treasury.
After the tour, drive back to the hotel.
Evening enjoy the famous Peking duck dinner at Fangzhuang Quanjude Restaurant.
After the dinner, transfer back to the hotel.
Lunch and dinner at Chinese restaurant.
Overnight at Beijing
Early in the morning, pickup from your hotel, then transfer to railway station for train to Chengde. (K7711 07:56 – 12:31) hard seat
Upon arriving at Chengde, meet your guide and transfer to restaurant for lunch, then check in at your hotel. Drive to excursion at the heart of Chengde and discover Chengde Resort (Bishushanzhuang). (The Resort is the largest imperial garden in modern China and also a summer resort. Grand palaces, delicate temples, peculiar mountains, exquisite pavilions and tranquil waters are full of beautiful things in your eyes. It covers a total area of 564 square kilometers, and is twice as large as the Summer Palace in Beijing. In the Qing Dynasty, it took 89 years (1703 ~ 1792) to complete.). Then drive to your hotel.
Overnight at Chengde
Drive to visit Puning Temple. Punning Temple is also called Big Buddha Temple because of the big Buddha in it. The temple was built from the twentieth year to the twenty-third year of Emperor Qianlong in the style of the earliest monastery of the Tibetan Buddhism-Sanmoye Temple. It is of a gigantic scale and covers an area of 23,000 square meters. Inside the temple, there are gate hall, bell-drum tower and inscription pavilion. In the inscription pavilion stand the monuments of A Record of Puning Temple, A Record of Pacifying Other Tribes and A Record of Pacifying Their Descendents. Right behind the inscription pavilion are the Heaven King Palace and Daxingbao Palace.
Continue to visit Putuozongshengmiao (Temple of Potakara Doctrine) (Built in 1771, the Putuo Zongcheng Temple is a most resplendent and sweeping one. It covers an area of 220,000 square meters, and is similar to the Potala Palace in Lhasa. This temple was built for celebrating the emperor Qianlong's birthday. Zang-style architectures are displayed thoroughly there. This temple was used to hold important religion ceremonies and for the emperors to interview the heads of the Minorities and some ministers in the past.) Upon arriving at Beijing Railway Station, meet your guide and transfer to the hotel.
