9 Days Shanghai, Yellow Mt and Hangzhou Tour meant to discover the south of the lower reaches of the Yangze River. You will begin this China tour from center city Shanghai with it’s multi-culture city landscape. And then go ahead to North to Anhui province, with it’s magnificent Yellow Mountain. At last, you will explore Hangzhou with it’s famous water/canal town scenery.

Shanghai People's Square which is located in the center of Shanghai, covers 140,000 square meters, surrounded by the municipal government office building, the Shanghai Museum, Shanghai City Planning Exhibition Hall and the Grand Theatre.
Later go to visit Shanghai Museum The museum has the selection of over 112,000 Chinese cultural relics from the Old Stone Age to modern times, which includes bronzeware, calligraphy, paintings, pottery, porcelain, jadeware, stone carvings, Jiaguwen imperial seals, ancient coins, silk embroidery, dyed fabrics, ivory sculptures, ethnic craftsetc. And Shanghai Bazaar and Yu Yuan Garden. Yuyuan is the most famous garden in Shanghai. It is located in the heart of Shanghai's Old City (Shanghai bazaar), one of the few existant old tourist places in Shanghai. Shanghai bazaar is teemed with a great number of small streets and lanes where vendors sell their products and food stuffs to the tourists and local people.
Later go to visit M50 Creative Garden, a characteristic complex of historical buildings from the 1930s to the 1990s, is the best preserved architectural legacy of national textile industry on the banks of the Suzhou River. The garden has introduced some 100 artists and designing units and Tianzifang Street. Tianzifang is an artsy area that has developed from a renovated residential area (old Shanghai shikumen buildings) in the French Concession area of Shanghai. Now it houses bars, cafes, crafts shops, design studios, galleries and boutiques. Many local residents still live in the narrow lanes. Just be mindful and respect their privacy.
After the tour, transfer back to the hotel.

visit the new development zone in Pudong - Lujiazui, which is teemed with the futuristic, avant-garde buildings - Oriental Pearl Tower, Jin Mao Building, Bank of China Tower. Taking the elevator to the Oriental Pearl Tower (the 2rd ball floor ) to have a bird's eye view of Huangpu River.
Afternoon drive to airport for flight to Huangshan. FM9265(1420-1525)
Upon arrival, meet with local guide and transfer to Xidi for overnight.

Overnight at Xidi
Whole day visit Xidi Village. This is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site at the foot of Mount Huangshan about 54 kilometers from the city. Even older than Hongcun, Xidi has a history of more than 900 years although much of its original architectures are still preserved! The magnificent memorial archway is a point not to be missed.
Continue to visit Hongcun Village. It is a unique, buffalo-shaped ancient village.Because of this extraordinary vernacular dwellings of the village, Hongcun Village was added to the list of the World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in late 2000. It is also the location for the famous prize film "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon". And Nanping Village, with a history of over 1100 years, this intriguing and labyrinthine village. Numerous ancient ancestral halls, clan shrines and merchant residences survive within Nanping's mazelike alleys.
Finally visit the Guanlu Village, Located in the southwest of Yixian County of Hungshan City, Guanlu Village is another tourist attraction known for its characteristically jointed ancient houses.Among all the houses, "the Eight Big Houses" owned by the eight brothers of Wang Family represent the best artistic value. They are the center of the village. Wang Shu was a famous calligrapher and painter in Qing dynasty.
Overnight at Xidi
After breakfast at your hotel, check out and drive to Huangshan Scenic Area, about 1.5-hour's drive, 80km north from your hotel in Tunx.
Later continue walk about 0.3km to Beginning-to-Believe-Peak. This 20-minute walk is a little difficult than that of from the White Goose Telpher Station to Stalagmite Peak. Afterward, you walk 1 km towards to another famous attraction – A Flower on the Tip of a Brush Pen. This 1km walk is also quite interesting. Especially you could see some unique pine trees. One of the pine trees is called “Umbrella Pine” named by Secretary of United Nations – Mr.Kofi Anna and his wife Nane Anna when they paid a visit to Huangshan on May 20-21, 2006.

Around 5:30am, after simple washing and putting on the winter jacket available in your room, hurry down and hike about 500 meters up to Dawn Pavilion by using flashlights, the best point to view the dawn and twilight in Huangshan. If you are lucky, you will catch the first sun light, but the sunrise is blocked the Beginning-to-believe Peak. Maybe that's why it is called "Dawn Pavilion" instead of "Sunrise Pavilion".
After breakfast and check out and begin morning sightseeing at Brightness Summit, Dawn Pavilion, Refreshing Terrace and Stone Monkey Gazing over the Sea of Clouds.
Finishing all the sightseeing in Huangshan.
Then you will transfer to railway station for the high speed train to Hangzhou G1507 ( 13:50-16:59)
After arrival at Hangzhou, pick up from exit and transfer to check in your hotel.
Overnight at Hangzhou
This morning, take a cruise tour in West Lake by public boat The West Lake is undoubtedly the most renowned feature of Hangzhou, famous for the beautiful scenic that blends with many famous historical and cultural sites).
Afterward, move to Ling yin Temple(It is roughing translated as either Temple of Inspired Seclusion or Temple of the Soul’s Retreat and is really Huangzhou’s main attraction It is nice for people who wish to study aspects of Chinese Buddhism in detail.) Later Make the visit of Guo’s Villa and have a cup tea at here (First built between 1851 and 1861, the villa is named after a certain Guo Shilin. Opened to the public in October 1991 after a complete renovation, it is a private garden villa known among West Lake's gardens for being most characteristic of classic gardens in east China Lying against the West Hill.
Then stop at The Hu Qing Yu Tang Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicines. ( the museum presents to visitors a style of antique architecture besides a treasury of traditional Chinese medical science and technology. The museum, covering more than 4000 square meters of building area, consists of five parts: an exhibition hall, a hall of medicine preparation by manual labour, a health care clinic, a sales department and a restaurant of medicinal diets.)
Overnight at Hangzhou
Today, you will drive to visit Wuzhen Water Town,is an old water town with the distance around 200 kilometers from Shanghai. It is regarded as one of the most beautiful water towns in China.The flat houses, mainly with gray bricks had been built along the river over hundreds of years by successive generations. You will have a chance to take a Chinese traditional wooden boat rowing over the water, going zigzag through the small bridges one after another to find the local people playing cards and tasting tea relaxedly in Tea Stand by the side of the water
After tour , drive to railway station for your high speed train back to Shanghai. Upon arrival, be picked up from exit of railway station. Drive to check in your hotel.
